French Revolution (5 Mai 1789 Jahr – 9 Nov 1799 Jahr)

Beschreibung:

The French Revolution was lead by Maximilien Robespierre, a radical leader who believed in change for the lower social classes of France. The lower social classes (the peasantry & the middle class) composed of the infamous Third Estate. The last time the three estates convened they voted by Estate with the First (clergy) and Second (nobility) always voted together which made the Third Estate angry. In addition, there was a huge famine and an age-old law that forbade the Third Estate from hunting really negatively affected the lower classes because their crops were not yielding enough food for them to eat. This event later led to the Reign of Terror and the overthrow and the disposing of the French royalty.
