Trevor's father killed his mother in a drunken rage sometime in 1956, and four months later drank himself to death (MAG 10). Trevor was 13 at the time, and his brother was 16: they were then shuffled through a few foster homes and orphanages, but always ran away as the state tried to separate them, so they decided they'd rather live together on the streets (MAG 10).
