Origin of Sikhism (1 Jan 1499 Jahr – 10 Mai 1816 Jahr v. Chr.)

Known for being a progressive, innovative religion, Sikhism is a monotheistic religion derived from a selection of traditions of both Buddhism & Hinduism. Founded by an inquisitive guru named “Guru Navak Dev Ji”. He proposes the construction of the religion in1499 A.D. Sikhism is mocked after Buddhism’s & Hinduism’s belief in reincarnation & karma, Similar to Hinduism, they recognize only one true God and equality among all.
Sikhism originated in Northwest India based on Adrian Hernandez workshop. The advancing 500-year-old religion adopted the belief that there is only 1 superior God. In order to have pure fulfillment in life & the after life, you must believe in Him and obey his commands found in their Holy Book “Guru Granth Sahib”. Those that taught the scriptures of their Holy Book were titled as “gurus” instead of “prophets”.
Sikhist follow the 5 K’s which are principles that they believe will result in betterment for those of the religion and those around them. Similar to the 5 Pillars in the Judaism belief, they both are 5 main guidelines that are to be followed. The 5 K’s consist of never cutting one’s hair, always wear shorts and a silver bracelet, use a symbolic, wooden comb as well as carrying a deadly, curved blade that should only be used on certain, extreme circumstances.
A synopsis of a outbreaking Sikhism religion is that it’s a combination of Buddhist and Hindu beliefs and traditions but with the belief if only one God similar to the God of Judaism & Islam beliefs.
