Chris tels the story fifteen years later and does not have the exact times. However, according to Chris, Jay was in the pool house on Route 40 when Adnan called him. Adnan came to the pool hall and showed Hae’s body to Jay in the parking lot. Adnan told Jay that he did not have a way but to help Adnan get away with it because jAY was an accessory now and Adnan knew that Jay wouldn’t go to the cops because of his own illegal activities. And so Jay helped Adnan bury the body. Jay told Chris that Adnan confronted Hae about flirting with another guy and Hae called him crazy so Adnan strangled her in the Woodlawn Library parking lot. Adnan also threatened to hurt Stephanie if Jay didn’t cooperate.
