French and Indian War Begins/Albany Plan (1 Jan 1754 Jahr – 1 Jan 1763 Jahr)

A war breaks out between between Great Britain and France over control of territories in North America, especially the Mississippi river and the Ohio river valley.
In order to better defend themselves some of the colonies proposed creating the Albany plan of Union for mutual self defense, but the plan was rejected.
