The Native Americans begin to spy on the colonist and since they arrive. when they arrive the Native Americans were not sure who they were but knew they might be dangerous they hope they would leave the land soon. The colonist thought the Native Americans were uncivilized and dangerous also so does the governer beleive that. Powhatan at first didn't want to fight since they didn't know what kind of people they are dealing with. However, when the colonist and the spies of Native Americans broke out. Powhatan decided to fight the colonist but not alone, he said they would team up with other tribes to battle them.
