It was neither a residential-city nor was it a civic community in the way of the latin "civis" with a large civilian population they came here because of physical geography (for the same reason why the kelts lived here; because of the safety they had from behind the hills and because the rhine because it is water, and water is good for growing food (and is good because you need it to stay hydrated.)
