GI Bill:This bill was created to help veterans of world war ll who have been drastically affected by it.This bill made low intrest mortages available,helped tuition for those who wanted to go to college.
Executive order 9981: It abolished discrimination "on the basis of race, color, religion or national origin" in the United States Armed Forces. The executive order eventually led to the end of segregation in the services
Mccarthyism: This was one of the most influential things born during the era of the red scare.This was a form of a corrupt government practice,making people of poltical power go into a court room where they are repeadetly questioned on their political views,accused of disloyalty,and made them incriminate their friends and colleagues,and if they refused to face jail time,or eve lose your job.This was all a campaign to expose suspected communists.
