Emika learns about Hideo and his invention the NueroLInkEmika is on a bounty hunt for a criminal to pay off her debt.Emika is hunting a criminal wanted for gambling on Warcross so she can pay off her debtEmika gets a call from Henka Games office and speaks with Hideo Taneka about what happened yesterday.Emika along with her friend Keira go log into Warcross to watch the Opening championship game.Emika uses a hack that steals an item from the opening match of the Warcross Championship.Emika is told my Mr.Alsole that she has until Thursday to pay off her debt or she will be evicted from her Flat.Emika is Driven to the Airport to Hideo's Private Jet to be flown to Tokyo, JapanEmika Arrives in Tokyo and is driven to a hotel to a Penthouse suite in Crystal Tower Hotel.Emika prepares to meet Hideo by ironing and straightening her clothes along with beat-up boots and a red Plaid Flannel.Emika is being flown toward Tokyo in Hideo's private supersonic jet for 10 hours.Emika heads up as she is greeted by Kenn in person,Ms. Mari Nakamura,and Hideo Taneka all in the office.the lobby attendant tells her not to talk about family with Hideo. Along with no cameras or video all while signing a contract before heading up.Hideo then introduces Emika to the NueroLink Lenses Prototype.Hideo States that Emika will be put into the Wardarft to play in the Championships. Hideo also explains that the Hack Emika used to steal the item went through a Shield that hasn't almost never been Breached.Hideo asks Emika is a Bounty hunter and the Online Criminal Underworld. Emika then says yes and also knows about the Underworld of Warcross called the "Dark World".Emika Puts on the lenses and is asked by Hideo to join a session of Warcross with Hideo to find out who her Bounty target is for the Hunt.Emika heads to a cafe and soons finds out where the man is.The man is begging a teller to trade in the notes for cash since he has to leave the city.The Teller can't since it's game season and the police are on high alert.Emika manages to catch the criminal,The police then take the guy away but don't give her cash since she wasn't the first one to respond to the police where the suspect was.Emika while heading home has her skateboard ran out of battery, forcing her to make a trip to the Subway to get home.Emika joins a Warcross session and Hideo shows her a piece of mangled code that she manages to spot and fix when Hideo staes that his Engineer's took a week to find.Hideo talks about why he thinks "Zero" is one of the Players in the Championships.Emika gains 2 levels due to being a WarDraft Participant.Hideo tells Emika that she could turn down the offer to hunt down "Zero", she refuses and then told that the reward money is a pending number in her Bank account.After finishing the Meeting Emika is called by Kenn and is complimented by him saying that Hideo never has anyone that quickly.After Jiro drives Emika back to her suite she finds a black gift box containing a limited edition SkateBoard along with two notes, one from hideo that stating to see you soon at the Wardraft, and also one stating she has been invited to participate in the Wardraft as a Wild- Card on March 3rd.Emika looks out at the scenery and is awe-struck by how much she can see. Their team was chosen first to pick and they chose her.Emika meets while heading to the Wild-Card stands with Ziggy Frost, one of the best thief's, and Yuebin from Beijing as the Top fighter.Ziggy congradulates and shakes around Emika as the announcer states that Asher was kwown for unconventional draft picks, the guy suggests that Asher figured out something the others haven't.Emika manages to spot a mysterious figure in static as the figure goes out of existence as she blinks to take a screenshot of them.As the cars pull into the campus as she spots each team's virtually colored in each colors of the respective team while meeting up with Asher Wing, her captain and leader for a few months during their stay.Emika notices and gets a drink from Wikki, a robot that records food and Drink preferences for each person.Ash talks about "Mario Kart" Link Edition which is a tradition of the Phoenix Riders team to play each night to bond and increase their reflexes. he also introduces each of the other Riders to Emika.Emika after putting stuff away puts up her shields while looking over the screenshot she took during the Wardraft.After finishing the Meeting Emika is called by Kenn and is complimented by him saying that Hideo never has anyone that quickly. (copy)Emika hacks and changes the settings of Wikki for an hour, finding out info for each of teammates which will take time to complete and soon reboots the robot and lets it leave.The phoenix riders head to the club where the party is held while fans scream as they begin to enter the buildingAsh tells Emika to acts foolish and look like she's scared of the other teams by letting them be overconfident, then destroying them in the game.Emika makes a fool of herself in front of the demon Brigade's Max and Tremaine while putting on a naive smile,pretending to fall,and acts oblivious.Emika, Hammie, and Roshan shakes hands with Hideo while Emika speaks with Hideo and looks up info on DJ Ren.Emika just waking up heads downstairs with the rest of the group to look at matchups. while also looking quietly at the Info of each Member she collected. She starts to run a program to get through Ren's Shield around his data.the group talks about their matchup with the Demon Brigade, talking how there players can swap between lots of roles with Tremaine being the best at switching.the reporters ask Hideo about the contact lenses that he has released to the public for free shipping them around the world while the reporters ask about info about him and Emika.Afterwards the group puts on their contacts and goes into the training world.The team meets in the Training Grounds, all in their official team colors. Emika and Hammie are against each other to grab a power-up for their Group's captain. Roshan is Emika's, while Hammie's is Ash.Both of them race off and in end Emi lost, Ash saying due to her wild-card weaknesses of tunnel vision and lack of following instructions as the other's take turns doing other team exercises.Emika after training looks over each of her teammates info and finds encrypted info on Ren with the sign WC0Emika calls and relays the info she receives from the encrypted data on Ren, Hideo talks about the security shield being mutated from Henka Games tech by using an infinite key to open it, revealing the numbers 1300PD, Meaning 1:00 in military time and the Location Pirate's Den, a place of gambling in the Dark World.Emika and Hideo have a chat about the gossip and talk about her criminal history.Emika forgot to turn off her program that took info and received a memory from Hideo's life.After 3 days of training feeling exhausted Ash says that Saturday they have no trainingHideo invites Emika to a chat with her to check in on her as Emika asks for moral support from him.Emika enters the Dark World to seek out Ren in the Pirates Den.New
