Rachles leprosy has started to affect her so her
toes have gone back in and on one hand, she
has no fingers.Kenji is the manager of the store and Rachel is
his assistant manager .rachel now volunteers for the "bishop home for girls"One of the girls at the home reminds Rachel of
her daughter who is turning 12 just like the girl.while Kenji was dropping off the rations to the
store Rachel was talking to the clerk about what
people get to eat and he said if you want I can
try and do something .A day or two later a man come into the store to
give Rachel the stuff that she asked the clerk to
give everyone but he tried to assault her.she went and told someone but they didn't
listen.he then assaulted another younger girl and they
sent him packing up the pali.sister Catherine went back to new york for 2
weeks to see her family.
