The Stamp Act The stamp act took place in 1765. It was an act of the parliament of Great Britain. This is an imposed tax on the thirteen colonies. This tax states that all paper printed products need a stamp on it with extra tax because of the stamp. This taxed the colonizers a lot of money.

Now This is where we are now. 243 years after the events of Lexington and Concord. A free country, a noble country who has lost lives in many attacks, and a brave country who has gone and taken revenge on the people who attacked us.

The French and Indian war The French and Indian war took place from 1756-1763. The French and Indian war took place because France wanted America but so did Britain. The reason it’s called the French and Indian war is that the Native Indians assisted the British to get a victory.
The Townshend Acts The Townshend acts are actually not one but multiple acts put in to place by, guess who, the Britsh. They were passed in 1767 and 1768. The reason they are called the Townshend acts is because the chancellor of Britain passed them so they named it after him.
The First Continental Congress The First Continental Congress was not an official Congress. The first continental congress was a meeting of delegates from 12 of the 13 colonies. This took place from September 5 to October 26 in 1774. The meeting was held at Carpenters Hall.
