Start of the Franco-Prussian War - This was the war between Germany and France. When William of Prussia allied with Germany to over-through France.
End of the Franco-Prussian War - Germany crowned William of Prussia, the Emperor of Germany while France was starving and has resorted to eating cats and dogs. It ended with Napoleon surrendering.
Wilhem II gets the German throne. - Wilhem II getting the throne lead to major tension between Germany and the rest Europe. Starting off with Wilhem refusing to renew the Reinsurance treaty with Russia that allowed them to be at peace with Austria Hungary and keep control of France.
Start of the Russo-Japanese War - Russo- Japanese rivalry over Manchuria and Korea reached its height with the Russo-Japanese War.
End of the Russo-Japanese War - Russia ended up losing this war, which as a huge hit to the ego. Thus leading to Russia building and improving its army, as it had something to prove.
Entente Cordiale - This was the alliance between Britain and France which was created over the paranoia and dislike of Germany.
First Morocan Crisis - Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany arrived in Morocco to declare his support for the sultan of Morocco, causing the anger of France and Britain.
Second Moroccan Crisis - French troops occupy the Moroccan city of Fez on May 21, 1911, sparking German wrath and a second Moroccan Crisis.
The Bosnian Crisis - Austria-Hungary annexed the balkan area of Bosnia and Herzegovina causing international tension, because the rest of Europe saw this as betrayal of the treaty of Berlin. This really angered Serbia, and Russia was partially forced into supporting Serbia due to treaties and the peoples views.
Italo-Turkish War - This war didn't really effect the rest of Europe. But turkey did show the weakness of the Ottoman army, leading to the fade of the Ottoman Empire.
The Triple Alliance is Formed - Alliances were one of the many reasons that lead to WW1, and the triple alliance of Gemrany, Austria-Hungary and Italy caused for there to be more tension especially during the Balkan wars and the asassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
The Balkan Wars - The First Balkan War was fought between the Balkan League which was Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, and Montenegro. And the Ottoman Empire. The Balkan League was formed with the Russian support in taking Macedonia away from Turkey, which was already involved in the Italo- Turkish war.
The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria - The assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand caused major uproar and had the pot of tension between Serbia and Austria-Hungary boil over leading to the July Ultimatum.
July Ultimatum - Austria-Hungary presented an ultimatum to Serbia. It imposed impossible demands allowing them to declare war on its Serbia for ‘orchestrating’ the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria.
The Start of World War 1 - The July Ultimatum that caused Austria-Hungary to go to war with Serbia, was the tipping point and the tension of previous relations clashed with the help of alliances, militarism, industrialism, and nationalism.
