Boston Tea Party -A group of men disguised themselves as Native Americans and threw 342 crates of tea overboard -Took almost three hours for them to dump the tea into the Boston Habor -In the aftermath of it all only one man was arrested and imprisoned
King George repeals most of the taxes .

French and Indian War -England did not officially announce the war until 1756 -This war was also called the Second Hundred Years' War -At the peace conference, the British received Canada from France .
Colonists heavily taxed *Tea/Stamps/Sugar -Britain felt the taxes were fair -Stamp act caused mostly every printed paper to be taxed -The colonists were angry with being taxed and not having any representation in Parliament .
First Continental Congress -Delegates from twelve of thirteen colonies got together -Georgia was not in the meeting because they were being attacked -The meeting was held at Carpenters' Hall in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania early in the Amreican Revolution .
Declaration of Independence -Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin along with 2 others were tasked with writing a statement of the Colonies' intentions -They fully adopted this declaration on July 4th -It was divided into 5 sections, including the introduction, preamble, the body which was 2 sections, and the conclusion .
Revolutionary War .
Thomas Paine writes "Common Sense" -Published it about his arguments in favor of American Independence -Credited with uniting the colonists about the idea of independence -This pamphlet sold over 500,000 copies
