• Eyes and nose are slits or not shown, ovoid head, columnar neck, shoulders slope downwards, chest is a single line or females have rudimentary breasts
• Sketchy indication of hands in feet on male and female, flattened butt, flexed legs
Local deities resided in animals or represented in stones, pieces of wood or wooden figurine
