Al was kicked out of school at age 14 for striking one of his teachers. He worked a variety of odd jobs such as a candy store clerk to a laborer in an ammunition plant. This is the time that Capone got involved in the two "kid gangs," the Brooklyn Rippers and the Forty Thieves Juniors. See Picture 1.
