After not getting what he wanted from the Nerfburg Trial, Jareth authorized and funded a group of SteeSt extremists to hijack civilian airliners. The first plane hit the North Jakestown Trade Tower at 8:46am. At first the people of Jakestown simply assumed it was a fluke accident, and proceeded to follow ordinary search & rescue procedures. However after the second plane hit the south Tower at 9:03am, it was evident that this was not a fluke accident but rather a deliberate attack against Jakestown. Jake then authorized "operation find that hoe" (OFTH), to find out who committed these atrocities. However later this was useless as Cameron eventually came forward to claim that he led with assistance from Jareth (the leader of the Steest) the terror attacks. Jake then immediately submitted a declaration of war to his congress, and the military operation "Dancing Dingo". Although Jareth refused to claim responsibility for the attack, Jake maintained his people remained informed that Jareth had explicitly said he would commit 9/11, and one of his own soldiers stated that he did have a leading role in the attacks.
