After being up 2-0 at half-time Mbappe single-handedly takes his team back into the race after scoring two goals in two minutes. After a 2-2 draw at full-time, the match is taken into extra time where Messi scores in the 108th minute, but Mbappe equalizes with a penalty in the 118th minute to complete his hat trick. In penalties, Mbappe and Messi scored their penalties, and Argentina scored their second and third while France's penalties were saved by Emiliano "Dibu" Martinez; Argentina win the match 4-2 in penalties.
