Starting from the end of Justinian’s region, the empire started to tremble due to a disease from the Indian ships with rats, which reassembled the bubonic plague. The year 542 A.D. was when the greatest casualties happened due to the plague, with 10,000 people dying every single day. When the plague ended in 700, a huge percentage of the population was destroyed.
