Johnny Depp is responding to the recent videos and alleged evidence Amber Heard has released attempting to show evidence of abuse suffered at the hands of the star, but his team is doubling down that the evidence proves he is innocent.

Depp’s attorney, Adam Waldman, tells The Blast, “Having been caught by 19 sworn eyewitness statements, 87 surveillance videotapes, audio tape and photographs faking her claims, Ms. Heard has decided to concoct new fake claims of abuse.”

The “Pirates of the Carribbean” star and his legal team are addressing the shocking video deposition, which they call a “hoax,” of Heard that was filed in her response to Depp’s multi-million dollar defamation lawsuit.

The video features Heard emotionally claimed her ex-husband had grabbed her by the hair and thrashed her around, before allegedly going after her sister. Heard admitted she struck Depp, but claimed it was to prevent him from killing her baby sister. Along with the video deposition, Heard filed photos appearing to show the ex-couple’s apartment destroyed from the alleged fight.

Waldman scoffs at Heard’s deposition video, claiming “Yet 25 minutes after the horrific scene described by Ms. Heard and her two friends, two police officers, male and female, trained in domestic abuse and responding to a domestic abuse call observed and interviewed Ms. Heard twice and performed two security sweeps of the entire premises.”

He says the officers saw no signs of destruction, and encountered a “perfect-faced Ms. Heard .” Waldman then takes aim at the photos, and believes they may have been doctored.

“Ms. Heard dutifully but fraudulently produced pictures, with no metadata, to the Court purporting to show a ‘destroyed’ penthouse so she could obtain her temporary restraining order,” Waldman says.
