An ultimate being of immense power, a god of trickery, fell to his own perfect blade. He had crafted a blade of immense power, and had always thought it could kill a god if necessary. He displayed his sword for all the gods to see, a reminder that they are in his good graces. Until he couldn't find it. The blade had been stolen from his realm, from his own castle, while he rested. He had not sensed any intruder. He scry for it, begging to collect the sword again. He had tied a bit of his divine soul to it, but he couldn't even sense it.

He sat in his throne room, feeling helpless, and that's when he was attacked. A mortal… A paladin… An Oathbreaker stood in front of him, he lobbed off his hand, and he felt a bit of his powers leave him. He was so stunned that the next attack took his head. A god killer it was. The divine energy from the power of a god was consumed by the paladin, and he dropped the blade as the realm shook. The sword, the head, and the hand all fell through the realms, into the astral plane.

A spirit, Zavourn, stood as they plummeted to the floor, before stopping them. He picked up the head, a curious tilt to his shade before a spirit formed from the head. His god… his god was dead. He felt the energy of his old gods left eye, and dug it from his head. He sent the items to rest in the material realm, uncaring of where they landed, before taking the head of his once god with him.
