1 Dez 489 Jahr - First known Confucian Temple to be erected
in capital city in China
(Northern Wei)
Beschreibung:
The practice of offering sacrifices to
Confucius at his ancestral home in Shandong can be traced to the beginning of the
imperial era, and Confucian rituals were performed at an academy in a capital city
as early as 386, but a Confucian temple per se does not appear to have been
erected in any dynastic capital until Northern Wei did so in 489.
