In the summer of 2012, London hosted their third Summer Olympics. This is the most times that any one location has ever hosted. The U.S.A ended the games with a total of 103 medals. They had forty six golds, twenty eight silver, and twenty nine bronze. 10,768 athletes participated from 204 NOCs (National Olympic Committees).
