The First Gulf War was the result of Kawada being invaded by it's much bigger neighbour Iraq. Iraq had poor human right conditions and Kawada could not defend itself on it's own. Thatcher was in American at the time of the invasion with Reagan's vice president-George Bush. The President wanted to be cautious, but Thatcher's influence on having a military response effected Reagan.
