the Boston massacre happen when five civilians were shot and killed by the British troops on march 5 1770 it took place at midnight when a large mob got together outside of the custom house there was british soldier had a hit a boy with his rifle because the boy had insulted his commanding officer. so a crowd had began circle around them and turn into a anger mob and a soldiers came to help the other soldier the mob threw snowballs with clams inside of them and threw at the soldiers as the mob got bigger and bigger until it became more chaotic and more chaotic until someone yelled fire in confusion some soldiers fired into the crowd and killed a African American man got killed he was one of the first of people to die
