1 Jan 1689 Jahr - The English Bill of Rights
Beschreibung:
The English Bill of Rights was an act passed by parliament in 1689. The bill meant that the divine right of kings would not return to England, as it made it so that parliament was the only body that could make laws, and it must be called every three years. The bill also ended the standing army and took away rights from Catholics.
