Johnny Depp ended the friendship with Bruce Witkin who also left and discontinued work with the Hollywood Vampires. The Imperial Ball 2018 was the last concert Bruce Witkin played with the HV and it is quite likely that is the gig that Bruce Witkin was referring to when he stated Johnny Depp kept his distance.
