1 Feb 2033 Jahr - Artemis-Luna B
Beschreibung:
After a unprecedented period of collaborative activity from NASA, ESA, and SpaceX, Luna B is Launched with a crew of 3 bound for Luna's Shackleton Crater at it's southern Pole. Luna B would also be a short lived test-run like Luna A had been before it, as the goal with Luna B was not habitation but merely scientific testing and laying the groundwork for the eventual base which COULD be made permanent.
The Semi-rigid semi-inflatable structure of Luna B was assembled at a depression near the lowest point of Shackleton Crater, meaning that the base is in an effectively infinite polar night. NASA officials of the time explained this choice as it would allow them to store foods, scientific equipment, construction materials, and other necessary supplies out of the sun's constant waves of radiation.
Almost nobody knew the real cargo that Luna B would be protecting from sunlight and prying eyes.
