Erwin Schrondinger was an Austrian physicist who developed the "Electron Cloud Model" in 1926. This consisted of a dense nucleus that was surrounded by a cloud of electrons. His revolutionary work related to wave mechanics. He gave lectures on his findings the same year at the University of Wisconsin.
