J.J Thomson was a English physicist and Nobel Laureate in Physics. Using a CRT he experimented and determined the size of an atom. Thomson experimented a lot to discover that there are different parts to an atom. He experimented with a Crookes (Cathode Ray). He figured out that particles could be positively and negatively charged.
