In 2017 some dangerous things started being presented. The cooking chicken in Nyquil started as well as the Tide Pod challenge. But for right now I will be talking about the chicken in Nyquil. I’ll cover the Tide Pot challenge separately. Also would like to say that this is the information that I found on the internet and it is not as accurate as the video at the bottom. I advise you to watch it.

This all started with a tweet on April 20th, 2017. This was a joke and other people started taking pictures of the chicken in Nyquil as well. The FDA did take a look at this and warned that this could have serious side effects. Cooking chicken in Nyquil will not help your cold and will not help you sleep when you are sick either. Please do not try it but it also seems that no one really has tried it and it is mainly a joke. But I will warn you anyway. If you eat chicken in Nyquil you could get acetaminophen poisoning. Acetaminophen poisoning is basically taking too much medicine. When I say do not try it I don’t mean do it and just not eat it. I’m saying do not cook chicken in Nyquil at all. Even without eating it, you can still get side effects. By inhaling the medication’s vapors while cooking it can cause high levels of the medication to enter your body and that can also hurt your lungs. For your safety and others please do not cook chicken in Nyquil.
