Dalton's theory of atoms had a few main points: Elements are made of extremely small particles called atoms. Atoms of one element are identical in things like size and mass, atoms of different elements are differing in size and mass. Atoms cannot be subdivided, created, or destroyed. In chemical reactions, atoms are separated, combined, or rearranged.
