1 Jan 1521 Jahr - Hernan Cortes (Victory over Aztec Empire)

Beschreibung:

- The leader of the Aztec was Moctezuma II*, he attempted to become allies with the Spanish. Hernan Cortes however went back on their alliance and killed thousands of Native peoples using heavy artillery. Half of the Spanish force was also killed. However it still lead to a Spanish victory.

* there is some controversy over his death. Some say the Spanish killed him, and some say it was his own people.
