Beschreibung:

The US joined World War II as a response to the attack on Pearl Harbor. There was no other option to this the Japanese had basically declared war on the United States and the United States had to retaliate or they would be declared weak. This is what brought the United States into World War II. After this attack President Franklin Delano Roosevelt addressed the people and gave a speech. This told the people that the US would be going to war against Japan. After the U.S. declared war against Japan it was only right for Germany and Italy to declare war on the US as they had signed a treaty with Japan. Hitler was actually very happy with the US joining the war. this was because it made it much harder for the U.S. to supply England with the resources and other things to help them with the war this was because the Germans could now bomb the US. So, this is why the United States joined World War II.
