September 16, 1997

September 1997 marked a milestone in my life. I became an immigrant to the United States. I was pushed out of my hometown for economic reasons. The idea of a better life was attractive to me. I worked in several jobs until I gained experience in the construction industry. After that, I persuaded my education and dropped the challenging jobs. I started High school in the fall of 2013 and steeping through community college and now UC Berkeley.
