My father, Victor Manuel Dircio, migrated from Acapulco, Guerrero Mexico to San Diego California. My father was still 17 years old when he came to the United States. He started to work in construction when he arrived to send money back to Mexico to my grandparents. He had originally moved to the United States with the goal of returning to Mexico after a few years.
