On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated while riding in an open car during a motorcade in Dallas, Texas. Lee Harvey Oswald was quickly identified as the primary suspect and was arrested for the shooting. However, before he could stand trial, he was fatally shot by a nightclub owner Jack Ruby.

Many theories have emerged, ranging from the official conclusion that Oswald acted alone, to more elaborate conspiracy theories involving multiple shooters and government cover-ups.

Despite numerous investigations, the exact circumstances of Kennedy's assassination remain unclear, and the case remains a source of wonder and controversy amongst many US citizens. The event had a major impact on American society and remains a defining moment in the last 100 years.
