After years of friction, Houses Reyne and Tarbeck rise in rebellion against their overlords of House Lannister. In the resulting conflict, Ser Tywin Lannister, heir to Lord Tytos Lannister, obliterates both rebel houses. King Aerys II Targaryen names Tywin his Hand of the King after succeeding to the Iron Throne the following year.
