So in July 1789 a mob went to Bastille to try to get their supply of ammunition. But because the governor did not comply with this, they stormed Bastille to remove the King's attempt to regain power.

Effect: The Storming of the Bastille weakened the monarchy which led to the creation of the constitutional system of the democratic government. In addition to this, this revolt led to a series of events to which later resulted in King Louis XVI being overthrown.

Significance: The Storming of the Bastille led to the exchange of new ideas because it allowed the military to come together and share different ideas that they had. This would have allowed them to come up with ideas on how to strengthen their army. With the military improving based on their experience, the ideas of the government were also changing. The Storming of the Bastille led to the constitutional system of the democratic government as well. This would have changed the culture back then because King Louis XVI had been overthrown after the events following this revolt. People would have gotten together to share their ideas of improving the economy as well as politics.
