Beschreibung:

Simone Veil will be buried at the Panthéon in Paris on July 1, 2018 with her husband Antoine.

She will be the fifth woman, including Marie-Curie, two Resistance members deported to Germany (Tillion and Gaulle-Antonioz) and Sophie Berthelot, wife of Chemist Marcellin Berthelot. She is to be buried alongside 76 men. She was the fourth to be interred there on her own merits.
