Beschreibung:

Several people attempt to escape to the west, including Officer Müller and his familly and Anna and her family. Once everybody starts moving along, the Soviets realize what is happening, make their way into the tunnel and start shooting at them. One shot hits Fritz in the leg and another kills Müller when he dove in front of it to save Gerta. But overall, the tunnel was a success and they made it to the west.

This method also worked in the real world, as seen with Tunnel 57, a tunnel that was dug from a West Berlin bakery to East Berlin and helped 57 escape to East Berlin.
