Gwyn and Maddie are studying one of their ancestors, Daniel Rae, from family papers. Gwyn chooses Daniel to do his project on because he studied flight ad because of a family story about the "Rae Dragon". A friend of Gwyn and Maddie's mother named Sunny comes to visit because she is working on a viking exhibit. Sunny is a very tall archaeologist. Sunny tells Gwyn and Maddie about the old woven viking tablets she has brought for the exhibit.
