Beschreibung:

The Romans crucified Jesus after he had suffered the greatest pain ever in the garden of Gethsemane. Three days after his death he then rose from the dead.

1. His death set the stage for his resurrection. If he didn't overcome death then we couldn't have either.
2. This greatly affected Jesus' mother, disciples, and followers. They did not know what to do or who to turn to after he had died.
3. The reason for Christ's crucifixion, besides the fact that it was a part of his plan, is because the Jews were looking for a fierce messiah, who come to destroy and save them from the Romans when in reality he came to save us from sin. The citizens did not like that and crucified Jesus in cold blood.
