Manufactured by MXR and released in 1975, as the name suggests this is a phaser pedal that replicates the phasing sound that could be created on electronic tape recordings, but on your guitar sound, you can change the speed of the phasing oscillations using the speed knob. This pedal was popularized by Van Halen and various other artists.
