11 Jan 1968 Jahr - 1968: Prague Spring. This was where reformers in Czechoslovakia attempted to liberalise Communist rule. However, this confirmed Brezhnev's view that cultural liberalisation was a danger to communist rule so after this there was increasing pressure for artists to conform.
