This day is the day when the US dropped two atomic bombs on Japan. One in Nagasaki is called The Fat Man and the other in Hiroshima is called Little Boy. This connects to nationalism as the US did not like being sneak attacked during Pearl Harbor, so the US was too proud to let this go and drop two fat nukes onto Japan.
