The Bolsheviks were started by Lenin, they were the communist party of Russia and the Reds in World War I. In Russian Bolshevik means "One of the Majority," a new name was suggested by Lenin. The Bolsheviks seized power over Russia after the October Revolution and didn't lose it for a very long time. Member of the Bolsheviks were those of the Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party.
