A russian missile strikes near the Kyiv TV Tower, killing five people and injuring five others. The attack severs all TV transmissions in Kyiv. Meanwhile, the Babi Yar Holocaust Memorial Center confirms an accidental hit by a second missile intended for the tower on a memorial of the Babi Yar Massacre. A Russian airstrike also damages an occupied maternity clinic. Further Russian shelling strikes Rusanivka and Kurenivka and the suburbs of Boyarka and Vyshneve, as well as the areas around Kyiv International Airport.
Klitschko bans the sales of alcohol in Kyiv while appealing to shop owners by not taking advantage of the situation by raising prices on essential goods and medicines.
