WITH Nicolas Cage reportedly short of cash, his friend and ­fellow actor Johnny Depp has come to the rescue.

The 46-year-old heart-throb, who earns £43million a year, will apparently dig deep for Con Air star Nic and give him “whatever he needs” to help his cash crisis. Nicolas, 45, is in financial hot water over a £3.5million tax bill, as we reported earlier this week, and is suing his old financial manager for bad advice.

But now Pirates Of The Caribbean star Johnny is stepping in to pay his friend back for starting his career off.
