The GRU-P immediately lay heavy fire upon the Serpents when they invade. Despite their initial surprise attack, the GRU-P are not as well-versed at combat or as organized as the Serpents, and the GRU-P were eventually overwhelmed. After suffering a long stalemate, both sides raised a white flag and agreed to not meddle in each other's affairs.
