The Bill of rights was made to appease the citizens and protect their rights that Britain had taken away before.

Also, the anti-federalists wouldn't agree on the constitutions unless a Bill of Rights was added.

The first 10 amendments are ratified.
1. You are free to talk about whatever you want, worship what you want, print and release whatever you want, you can gather with others for discussion, and you can protest issues.
2. Every US citizen has the right to own a firearm.
3. You can’t be forced to house soldiers.
4. No search or seizure without a warrant.
5. You can’t be forced to admit guilt.
6. You have the right to a speedy trial and the right to a lawyer.
7.You have the right to a trial by jury.
8.You can’t be tortured or anything weird... basically.
9..Rights not listed here are still yours (mostly).
10. Any rights not on the constitution are up to the states to decide.
